Dismounts:
Simple dismount (leg over the neck)
Half-flank dismount (“emergency dismount”)
Ex: push off barrel from sideseat

Half-flank dismount into shoulder roll
? Importance of landing facing forward, knees bent and leg muscles engaged
? Importance of pushing away from the horse
Horse: mounting & dismounting
Kids show variety of dismounts off horse (Murphy?): simple dismount, slide from knees, from stand, rev. ½ flank on croup, roll over handles, slide off over croup…
Leg up on Applebee [head-up] (importance of soft descent using arms & legs) & simple dismount
Leg up on Murphy [head-down] & half-flank to the inside
