An Open letter to all the Region IX vaulting community:
Vaulters, Parents, Coaches, Longeurs, Horse Owners, & Trainers

On March 12, 13, & 14, 2004 the American Vaulting Association in conjunction with Region IX is offering to your community an incredible opportunity.  “The Spirit of Vaulting” conference will provide for you a variety of national & international experts in the field of vaulting.  It is a chance for us all to come together in a learning environment, share our experiences, and celebrate this wonderful sport as well as spread the knowledge and understanding of this wonderful sport to the rest of the equestrian community.
Our goal is to educate, inspire, and mentor vaulters, coaches, longeurs, and yes, parents. Parents, this is your golden opportunity to learn about vaulting and to become a part of your child’s life.  Vaulting can be a wonderful family sport.  You can become involved and educated about this sport and help support your vaulter.
This conference is a first in the history of US vaulting and it is happening in your region.  Please support it. Many people are volunteering tremendous amounts of their time and effort to bring this conference to you.  The tremendous generosity of the presenters in donating their time & effort in this endeavor is incredible.  We need all of your support in order to be successful.  The benefit to your region is enormous.  If we all work together and keep in mind the overall goal, we will make this into a wonderful experience for all those involved.  Don’t be left behind.  This is your opportunity to experience 3 days of fun, enrichment, and education.

Thank you for your support,
Noel Martonovich
VP Education
